Upselling is a selling technique in which you convince the customer to purchase a more expensive version of a product, an upgrade, or a premium service.

 Upselling helps you increase customer lifetime value and make customers come back for more. However, you need to know when it’s time to upsell and when it’s not. Just like cross-selling, upselling can be used only for some products.
