Showrooming means going to a brick-and-mortar store or any physical location to look for a product and purchasing it online. People still love to come and check out the products before they make the purchase. However, there are online vendors that sell products at a smaller price. 

Showrooming affects brick and mortar stores when it comes to costs. Along with the fact that people end up buying from a different place, customers also can damage the products due to multiple examinations. 

Brick and mortar stores are trying to stop showrooming by lowering prices and by implementing a BOPIS approach.
